ich habe gerade auf Facebook gelesen, dass ein neues Frida-Buch geplant ist. Der Autor will hierbei Fridas Karriere außerhalb ABBA in den Fokus nehmen. Hierfür hat er einige Wegbegleiter interviewt.

Hi all!
I am delighted to announce the forthcoming publication
of my book FRIDA BEYOND ABBA. A book which will chronologically detail
the musical output by Anni-Frid Lyngstad during her professional and
non-professional career as a solo artist from the mid-fifties to the
present. The book is the result of five years of intensive research in
several archives, great support of ABBA historian Carl Magnus Palm and
over 25 extensive new interviews with various musicians and producers,
who have worked closely together with Frida during different times in
her career. Many have spoken about their collaboration with Frida for
the first time.
The book
will detail musicians, studios, venues, songs and background information
and comes with an extensive list of tour dates and discography. In
addition I was granted permission to listen to a large number of
unreleased recordings for the book, including two full shows Frida
performed together with two separate bands. All these new details and
insights provided by research, interviews and these recordings will be
described in the book for the first time.
I am going to publish
the book myself to have complete control, both on the visual side and
regarding the content. This way I can ensure that I will deliver the
best book I can possibly make and can guarantee a quality that does
justice to both Frida's career and the readers of the book. It will be
designed by Grant Robinson and I hope to be able to publish in the
summer of 2021. Please keep in mind that this date may change if more
time is needed to get the book absolutely right.
The book will be financed through crowd funding, which will kick off on 22 June 2020.
It’s been a very exciting journey so far and I am very excited to
finally be able to share some more details with you now, as in the days
to come!
